Terms of Service

Verifei is a technology and advertising platform that lets licensed security agencies and independent security guards find and contact each other directly. Verifei is not a staffing agency, employment agency, recruiter, or employer of record for any guard. Verifei does not employ, place, assign, schedule, supervise, direct, or pay any guard, and does not select or recommend which guard an agency should engage.

Every connection made through the platform — an agency selecting a guard, or a guard applying to a posting — is made directly between that agency and that guard. Verifei is not a party to any engagement, work arrangement, or employment relationship that results.

Agencies remain solely responsible for their own hiring, engagement, and compliance decisions, including independently verifying that a candidate's licenses and credentials are valid, running any background checks the agency requires, and meeting all applicable legal, licensing, and employment obligations before engaging a guard. Verifei never charges guards; agencies pay a flat monthly subscription fee as described on the Pricing page.

Agency accounts are limited to licensed security agencies in good standing. Guard accounts are limited to individuals who attest their credentials, licenses, and permits are accurate, current, and truthful, and who remain solely responsible for maintaining their own licensing.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

A guard submits credentials, licenses, permits, certifications, and other information as part of creating a profile. Verifei (through an administrator) reviews what is submitted against basic completeness criteria before a profile becomes visible to agencies. This review is not an independent verification with any licensing authority, not a background check, and not a guarantee of a guard's identity, conduct, performance, or continued license validity — it reflects only that the guard-submitted documentation was reviewed and appeared complete at the time.

Agencies are solely responsible for independently verifying any guard's license, credentials, and identity, and for running any background check the agency deems necessary, before engaging that guard.

A guard's identifying and contact information is not shared with an agency until the guard has affirmatively confirmed interest in a specific request from that agency. This is enforced at the database level, and every instance of an agency unlocking a guard's contact information is recorded. Agencies agree to use unlocked contact information solely to reach out about the specific opportunity for which interest was confirmed.

Agency access to request creation and the guard directory is subject to an active paid subscription, billed monthly, as described on the Pricing page. Guards are never charged. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law.

Users may not misrepresent their identity, licensure, or credentials; attempt to circumvent the interest-confirmation process to obtain contact information; or use the platform for any unlawful purpose.

The platform is provided on an "as is" basis. Verifei does not guarantee the accuracy of any information a guard or agency submits, and does not guarantee the outcome, safety, or suitability of any engagement arranged between an agency and a guard. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Verifei disclaims liability for the acts, omissions, employment decisions, or engagement outcomes of any agency or guard using the platform.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When a change is material, you'll be asked to review and accept the updated version before continuing to use the platform; we keep a timestamped record of which version each user accepted.
