Privacy Policy

Guards: name, contact information, city/region/country, license and permit numbers and expirations, certifications, experience, availability, a short bio, and an uploaded resume.

Agencies: company name, country, license number, contact name and details, and information submitted as part of guard requests, including the names and credentials of any team members the agency adds to its own roster.

We also collect standard technical information such as device, browser, and usage data through normal operation of the platform, and — only with your consent via the cookie banner — non-essential cookies, if any are ever added.

A guard's identifying and contact information (including phone and email) is never made visible to an agency by default. It is disclosed only after the guard has affirmatively confirmed interest in a specific request from that agency. This protection is enforced at the database level, not only in the interface, and every time an agency unlocks a guard's contact information, that event is logged (which agency, which guard, which request, and when) so it can be audited.

To review guard-submitted credentials, operate the request/selection workflow, send notifications about selections and responses, monitor credential expiry an agency asks us to track for their own team, process agency subscription billing, and improve the platform.

We do not sell personal information. Guard contact information is shared only with an agency after interest is confirmed, as described above. We may share information with service providers (such as hosting, database, and payment processors) solely to operate the platform.

Team member information an agency adds to its own roster is controlled by that agency, not by Verifei — Verifei hosts it on the agency's behalf (as a processor) and does not use it for any other purpose.

We retain account information for as long as an account is active, and as needed to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes. See our Retention Policy for the specific retention periods and what happens to your data if you delete your account.

From your account settings, you can download a copy of all personal data we hold about you, and you can delete your account, at any time, without contacting us. Guards may also withdraw from consideration for a specific request at any time by responding "Not interested."

We use administrative and technical safeguards, including database-level access controls, to protect information submitted to the platform. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When a change is material, you'll be asked to review and accept the updated version before continuing to use the platform; we keep a timestamped record of which version each user accepted.
